Description -- Southwestern Black Band geometric design. Bottom stamps are identical on all four although not as clear as the one in the photo. All are in excellent used condition.
Historical Data -- The Shenango China Company began operating in Newcastle, Pennsylvania in 1902. The company learned to make true porcelain dinnerware in 1928, but the Great Depression prevented production until the mid-1930's. It was taken over by Anchor Hocking in 1979 and operations ceased in 1991.
